We are shocked and saddened about the death of our colleague Joe Williams, movie critic for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch since 2000. He was one of the founding members of the St. Louis Film Critics Association, and had served as our president since March 2014. 

We respected his work and admired his integrity. St. Louis has lost an advocate for good movies and our region. You could find Joe at the Superman Celebration in Metropolis n the Skyview Drive-In in Belleville as well as the Toronto International Film Festival and the Oscars.

We will miss our lively conversations with him.
